Best option to maximize your opportunity to catch fish and pick up new tips and tricks that’ll help later in your fishing career. A full day on the water gives us the flexibility to chase multiple species and fish various areas.
When it comes to fly fishing in the Tampa/Sarasota area, I haven’t found a better guide than Captain Jake. He is a patient teacher and he is organized and prepared for our time on the water. He is a great communicator on and off the water. Most importantly, he’s a good person who knows how to put you on fish. I had and incredible day of fishing with Jake in December 2024 and I can’t wait to get back on the water with him.

Captain Jake is extremely knowledgeable about the fish behavior and conditions he was able to regularly predict and spot fish as well as give good guidance on the best way to pursue the fish took the time at the beginning of the day to make sure we were on the same page to set us up for success. 10/10 would recommend

Spent a beautiful day on the fly with Capt Jake Andrew’s. He put me on dozens of great shots at big Reds and Snook. Learned a A LOT about how to fish the AMI area, and the nuances of how tides affect the bite. Capt Jake was pleasant to chat with, and he did a great job keeping my heart rate down when calling fish. Looking forward to getting back on his boat in June for tarpon.
